We identified in China a promising natural drug Danqi Piantan Jiaonang ( NeuroAiD ) for which data from research conducted in China shows a high efficacy in improving stroke rehabilitation, even at a late stage.

In order to demonstrate the efficacy of DPJ within the western framework, CHIMES Society will support the expansion of DPJ in western medicine implementing a randomized double blinded controlled clinical trial.

This study, performed following Western clinical trial standard methodology, will be initiated in October 2007 in several Western hospitals located in South East Asia (Singapore, Philippines and Thailand) and is aimed to complete patient recruiting within 2 years.
